Artist to unveil Viking-themed paintings
Vegreville-based artist Kari Fell will be attending this year’s Vikings in the Streets Festival on June 20, 21, and 22 to display her Viking themed paintings for the first time and
to draw further creative inspiration from Odin’s Ravens and Sons of Fenrir, the Viking re-enactor groups which will also be in attendance.
“They are amazing groups of re-enactors who really strive for authenticity and they are the models for all my paintings.

Her passion for capturing the Viking heritage in her art began in September 2013, while participating in an arts festival in Didsbury. She said she camped at the festival site with her family, alongside a group of Vi-king re-enactors called the Sons of Fenrir… For more see the May 27/14 issue of the Viking Weekly Review
