Irma oil spill mitigation company to expand
When you watch Wayne Bennett dump diesel oil into a water cooler filled with fibrous material and in a matter of seconds you see clear water fall into a catch basin, you have to question your own eyes.
You want to ask that he show you that again.
How did that happen?
You saw him pour black, sticky oil over material that looks a lot like lamb’s wool (but he tells you the absorbent material is actually made from old tires) and with your very eyes you watched as the oil passed through that fluffy material and dripped out as clean water.
Instead of questioning, you gladly follow in amazement as Bennett moves to another station at his Irma ESSI International manufacturing plant and pours that same sticky diesel oil into what looks a lot like a sandbox filled with black sand. The black sand is called Smart Crumbs.
