Minor Hockey weekend planned for Viking

    Hockey will be celebrated in Viking during a special Minor Hockey weekend planned at the Viking Carena Complex, Jan. 17 through to Jan. 19.

    The weekend will celebrate the love Canadians hold for hockey and how the sport serves as an event which involves the whole community.

    The weekend will start with a bonfire and tailgate party in the parking lot of the Carena Complex on Friday, Jan. 17.

    The party will start at 6 p.m. and will be followed by the first game of the weekend.

    At 7:30 p.m. the Dee Jay Plumbing Midgets will face off against the Stettler team.
