Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

    On November 18th, police received a complaint of an erratic driver westbound on Highway 14.
 
    The caller advised he was following a welding truck that was all over the road and driving at speeds that were unsafe for the icy road conditions.

Although Viking Town Council has not taken an official vote, Viking’s Chief Administrator Officer (CAO) has been informed that his contract which ends Dec. 31, 2013 will not be renewed.

Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

On November 5th, police responded to a complaint of a jack-knifed semi south of Viking at the intersection of Highways 36 and 26.  The driver advised he had attempted to turn around in the intersection and was in the process of backing up when the trailers entered the ditch.  The driver was issued a violation ticket for Sec.33 UHRRR.
