post 50 years of Service publisher December 3, 2013 On Nov. 27, 87-year old Ralph Tiedemann (center) of Vialta Lodge was presented with a 50-year service pin from Garry Brandt, Secretary Treasurer (left) and Darren Winczura, Exalted Ruler of Viking Elks Lodge No. 83. Tiedemann became a part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks No. 83 at 37 years of age. During his service he was once a District Deputy. Tiedemann said he was honoured to receive the 50-year pin and happy that the Lodge is still active in Viking. The Viking Elks Lodge No. 83 currently has 16 members.
