Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

On Oct. 28, police received a complaint of a break and enter at a business in Viking. 

    Unknown suspects were able to gain entry to the building and steal approximately $25,000. worth of goods. The investigation into this crime is continuing.

    That night, police responded to a 911 call of a disturbance taking place at a residence in Viking.
 
    When police arrived on scene, the complainant advised an argument had taken place and one of the parties had thrown an object, causing damage to a TV in the residence.

Both parties were spoken to and were apologetic. No further police involvement was required and charges were not laid.
