Mechanical failure places Ritchie second in Top Dragster Championship
A broken throttle robbed Trevor Ritchie from being able to leave the start line to compete for a first place win in the Top Dragster Championship at this year’s International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Summit Racing Equipment World Finals which took place October 11-12 at Memphis International Raceway.
Trevor is the 44-year-old son of George and Sheila Ritchie of Viking and has only been drag racing for two years but has already made his name synonymous with speed.
Trevor grew up in Viking, attended school here and now makes his home in Sherwood Park.
