VIKINGS IN THE STREETS

Although it seemed the weather was trying to cooperate, intermediate heavy rain-bursts on Saturday forced organizers to move a number of the Viking in the Streets activities indoors.

Laser tag was moved into the school gym but the popular bouncy house was too large to be set up indoors. The musical entertainment also moved into the school.

The weekend festival kicked off Friday evening at the Legion Hall with a chili contest hosted by  the Viking Lions. The winner of that event was ConocoPhillips. Peanut’s Oilfield was named hottest chili.
