Camrose Vikings win Midget B Female Provincial hockey title at Carena Complex

Here they are – the provincial champions!

The expressions on their faces said it all Sunday night as the players skated the championship banner around the Carena.

The Camrose Vikings served as the host team for the Midget ”B” Female Provincial Championship tournament last week and won the final game of the event to capture the top prize.

The Camrose Vikings faced-off against the High Prairie Timberwolves and played a fast-moving, action-paced three periods to capture the provincial title by a score of 6 to 3.

The Carena Complex was filled with cheering fans for all the 10 teams which took part in the tournament that started Wednesday and ended Sunday.
