RCMP ask for assistance in locationg hit and run Jan. 30 Hw 36 & 26
Viking RCMP are requesting the assistance of the public in locating the driver of vehicle involved in a hit and run collision which occurred between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 30, 2013 at the intersection of Highway 36 and 26 south of Viking.
Witnesses describe the vehicle as a red Ford F-150 style pick up truck with a thick white stripe running along the entire length of the vehicle.
At the time the truck was hauling an empty goose neck trailer black in color.
The truck slid through the intersection striking the rear end of a semi-trailer turning north onto Highway 36. The driver fled the scene heading west on Highway 26.
