Verna Warman turns 104!

Verna Warman celebrated a quiet birthday party at Extendicare, Viking, with her two youngest sons and their wives, Gordon and Marion Warman of Grenfell, Sask., and Wendell and Margaret Warman of Viking, Alberta.

    Verna was born in Upper Gagetown, New Brunswick, January 4, 1909, the eldest of 15 children born to Bliss and Sylvia Randall. Vern married Ansel Warman of Upper Gagetown on July 25, 1928. They had seven children, four boys and three girls.

    Her husband, Ansel, died on March 2003 at the age of 95, four months short of their 75th wedding anniversary.
