post Viking Christmas Concert a hit! publisher December 11, 2012 Although the Viking School Christmas concert strayed from a traditional Christmas theme, the audience was delighted with the unique performance. The students played the wooden spoons and performed songs using dancing wooden men as a percussive instruments. Under the guidance of Ian Porteous and Gilbert Parent of Les BĂ»cherons, the Viking students performed traditional dances of the French Canadian culture and brought the school gym to life.
