Arrests made in connection with murder of man near Ranfurly
Residents along Highway 16 are relieved to know that arrests have been made in relation to the death of a man found headless near Ranfurly in late October of this year.
RCMP announced last week that charges have been laid in the death of 54-year-old Robert Roth Senior who was found in a ditch near Ranfurly.
Roth’s headless body was discovered by an area resident who called police.
Almost a week later, Roth’s head was found in an alley in north Edmonton.
In the press release issued Tuesday, Dec. 4 RCMP said that not only were two persons arrested in connection with the Ranfurly murder but that arrests had been made in regard to two other murders, all of which occurred this fall.
