UPDATE: Severed head found in Edmonton being examined in possible connection to the headless body found north of Viking
Edmonton police have confirmed that they have discovered a severed human head in a back alley at 132 Avenue and 72 Street in Edmonton, and an autopsy is yet to determine if there is any connection between the gruesome find and the headless body found north of Viking near Ranfurly on Saturday.
The human head was discovered by a woman walking a dog and reported to police. Later an Edmonton man, on his balcony for a cigarette at 7:30 am, confirmed that an officer was picking up a body part and placing it in a bag.
The witness reported that the policeman told him it was a body part, and the man took pictures of the officer’s investigation.
