Vikings in the Streets Festival raises almost $21 grand

The Vikings in the Streets Festival committee met Thursday, Aug. 23 to discuss the success of this year’s event, announcing their net profit to be $20,790.58, including monies raised at the event and sponsorship.

    Of this, $5,000 will be left in the account as seed money for next year’s festival and the rest will be divided up by the Viking Community Foundation, to be used for purposes such as recreational and cultural development and upkeep in the Town of Viking.
