IRMA celebrates 100th birthday
It was like stepping back into history as Irma celebrated its 100th anniversary this past weekend.
There were vehicles and farm equipment dating back as far as 1917 on display as part of the the parade. These included tractors, cars, trucks and a stage coach.
One local hair salon displayed a perm machine from the 1930s. Many families that had homesteaded in or around Irma created their own floats for the parade.
The parade was so popular with onlookers it circled the town twice
