Viking Weekend update

     Police say a body found by RCMP this weekend may be that of  a person who was reported missing since early May.

     Police did not release the cause of death but said  no foul play was suspected and that the police investigation is complete at this time.

    Also this weekend STARS responded to single vehicle accident on Highway 619. The driver of a motorcycle was air evaced to an Edmonton hospital.

    RCMP continue to investigate the incident which saw the vehicle enter the ditch. The driver who was thrown from the bike, was  travelling westbound of Highway 619 at the time of the incident.

    Police are not releasing the name of the driver or the extent of injuries.
