Senate race

When you go to the polls next week, in addition to choosing a candidate for MLA, voters will be asked  to choose three potential Senators from among a field of 13 hopefuls.

    The NDP and Liberal parties did not nominate candidates for the senate race.

    The list of 13 include Vitor Marciano, Raymond Germain and Rob Gregory who are running under the Wildrose Party banner.

    Mike Shaikh, Scott Tannas and Doug Black are the three Progressive Conservatives  who have been nominated.

    Elizabeth Johannson is the candidate for the Evergreen Party of Alberta.

 Ian Urquhart, Len Bracko, Paul Frank, William Exelby, David Fletcher and Perry Chahal are running as independent candidates.
