Young photographer creates photo art
Rarely found without her camera, 15 year old Monica Kaup’s stunning photographs capture both her creativity and eye for beauty in the world around her.
Daughter of Curtis and Teresa Kaup, Monica is currently in Grade 10. She resides with her family in Sherwood Park, where they have settled permanently after previously living in Vegreville until she reached age six and Viking from ages seven to eight.
Interested in photography from a young age, after seeing adults taking pictures with their “big cameras” and always harboring a love for viewing wedding photos, she began taking her own pictures at age 11. It was at this time that she bought a new Fujifilm camera.
