STOLEN VEHICLE

On Monday, Feb. 6 at 9:30 a.m. the Wainwright RCMP Detachment responded to a complaint of a stolen auto from outside the Canada Post building.

    On attendance the owner of the vehicle advised that she had left the vehicle running with the keys in the ignition while she ran into the post office to get her mail.

    When she exited the post office as she put it “in seconds” the vehicle was gone.

    At approximately 10:30 a.m. the Wainwright Detachment members were advised that the registered owner of the stolen vehicle had located his truck on 1st Avenue.
