Portable Ultrasound Machine
A portable ultrasound machine which will be used in the Viking Health Centre’s emergency room was purchased with donations from area Hutterite Colonies including Viking, Iron Creek, Vegreville, Holt, and Holden. Grant money received from the Community Spirit grant was also used for the purchase. In the picture above the doctors and staff stand around the new machine. From left are Phyliss Lefsrud, Chair of the Health Foundation, Site Manager Sharon Burton, Unit Manager Jody Kawalilak, Dr. Gert Grobler, Dr. Marna Hagen, and Dr. Hermanus Potgieter.
