New Family Focus service direction set

With the conclusion of the long-standing Home Services contract with Alberta Health Services on Oct. 31, 2011, the Viking/Beaver Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) program has set a Family Focus as its new direction for services over the next three to five years. 

    In November 2011 the VBFCSS Board carried out a strategic planning session to consider the needs of residents of the Town of Viking, Village of Holden and Beaver County.

    The decision to focus on the needs of families means that VBFCSS will enhance programs that enrich and strengthen family life; and promote the social development of children, youth and their families.
