Holden Shrove Tuesday

The cooks were kept busy in the kitchen of the Holden Complex on Tuesday, Feb. 21 preparing dozens of pancakes for the Shrove Tuesday celebration.

The Complex was filled with neighbours and friends enjoying generous helpings of  golden pancakes hot off the grills.

Shrove Tuesday (also known as Pancake Tuesday, Pancake Day, Mardi Gras, and Fat Tuesday) is the day preceding Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent.
