Fire south of Holden

A fire alarm at about 3 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 alerted Holden and Ryley firefighters to a burning building located on Highway 855 directly south of Holden just north of Township Road 480. There were no injuries reported. The vacant home was totally destroyed.  There is no word on what started the fire or the amount of damage. Officials are investigating.
