WORD ON THE STREET

On January 10, police received a request from a local business owner, he advised that a collection agency has been contacting him over the last couple of months. 

    The agency is calling at different times of the day and asking for different names. 

    A phone number was located and the agency was contacted by the police.  While speaking with the agency it was determined that they were calling the wrong number and will be contacting the business to apologize.

    During the early morning hours of January 15, police received a complaint of injury to an animal. 

    The complaint stated a subject that is known to the complainant was banging on her doors and windows, and also kicked her dog.  This matter is still under investigation.
