McKee turned himself in

On Dec. 21 escaped prisoner Christopher MCKEE of Wainwright turned himself in to the Brooks Court House.

He had been at large after escaping from officers at the Wainwright hospital on Dec. 11.

McKEE had several outstanding warrants for his arrest out of Brooks and Red Deer as well as the Wainwright warrant for escaping lawful custody.

RCMP were requesting that McKEE be remanded in custody. A Judicial Interim Hearing was held in Brooks and he was released on a no cash bail by the courts.
              
 Although McKEE  had outstanding warrants, and escaped lawful custody his release reflects that the court has confidence that he will appear on the set court date.
