Equestrian rider travelling to USA for horse shows
One of Viking’s local equestrian riders will be leaving Alberta to go the U.S.A at the end of the month. Willow Wemp will be travelling to Purcell, Oklahoma for two to three months to participate in horse shows there.
Wemp is going to travel and live with her aunt Debbie Hill while in Oklahoma; they will be leaving Viking sometime around Jan 26.
They plan to drive all the way which Wemp said is approximately a three day drive. Once there Wemp said, they plan to stay in hotels since they hope to attend any number of horse shows which will require them to move around often.
Wemp already has a trainer lined up for her time in Oklahoma.
