Film crew visits Viking School
Viking School played host to an entire film crew on Friday Dec 3, 2011.
They were there as part of a project by Alberta Education that focuses on inclusion in Alberta schools.
At Viking school, the filming was focused on one student in particular, William Markkula.

Wainwright RCMP search for escapee
On Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 at approximately 4:00 p.m. the accused, Christopher MCKEE, was in custody for outstanding warrants.
MCKEE was taken to Wainwright Hospital to seek medical intervention for health issues.
MCKEE escaped from the Police Officer when being seen by a doctor.

WORD ON THE STREET
On Dec. 5, police received a complaint of a break and enter into a residence in Viking. The complainant stated this has been an ongoing issue and is requesting assistance from the police.
The investigation into this matter is continuing.
