WORD ON THE STREET

On December 12, police received a complaint of a break and enter in progress at a residence in Viking. The complainant advised she could see a youth attempting to gain entry into the residence next door.

Police attended the scene and found the residence secure with no signs of intrusion.

The homeowner was contacted and he advised nothing appeared to be missing.

Police spoke with the complainant who did not wish to provide a statement but did advise she recognized the youth from the neighbourhood.
