WORD ON THE STREET

On Dec. 5, police received a complaint of a break and enter into a residence in Viking.  The complainant stated this has been an ongoing issue and is requesting assistance from the police.

The investigation into this matter is continuing.

    Later that afternoon police were called to senior’s facility as there was a report of a sudden death to one of the tenants.

    It was determined the female resident had died of natural causes and the death was not suspicious in nature.

    On Dec. 8 police were notified of a motor vehicle collision outside of the school.
 
    It was determined that a female driver was exiting the parking lot and crossed over the two lanes of traffic and collided with a parked vehicle across the street.      The female driver was issued a violation ticket for backing up unsafely.
