Wild Pink Yonder in Viking

She has to be tired after a day on the trail but Jane Hurl wipes dust of her wind-tanned face and cracks a smile as soft and welcoming as all the pink fluff surrounding her drive and talks one more time to reporters about her trail drive to beat cancer.

She says although they are tired, they are happy to be in Viking and can’t wait to thank locals for participating with decorations and support.

With her son Rusty at her side she tells about the fun of the ride and does not linger on the heartache many of the participants carry with them along the trail. Everyone is riding for someone or in memory of someone lost to cancer.
