Influenza cases have been reported across the province prompting Dr. Gerry Predy, Senior Medical Officer of Health, Alberta Health Services, to  advise everyone to be immunized.
As of Thursday, Nov. 17 there were nine cases reported leaving Dr. Predy to predict that there could be an increase in activity before Christmas.
He said two cases were confirmed in Edmonton and the others reported through the five health zones. He said a seniors’ lodge in Calgary also reported an outbreak of the flu.
