Viking School does not have no-zero policy

The no-zero marking policy which has made headlines in Edmonton recently is not one which is followed by Viking School.

The policy has seen two city teachers suspended for defying the method of grading.

Viking School and the Battle River Regional School Division (BRSD) do not have this policy. However Viking School’s principal Brett Huculak says teachers at Viking School are not to give zeros until it becomes absolutely necessary.
