Three Aggregate Track and Field winners for Viking

At the area track meet on May 30, Viking School’s junior high students had a very successful day.

Three students won aggregate medals for most points in their grade, and a total of 29 students moved on to the regional meet held today as well.

    Jesse Petroskey won Grade Eight aggregate, with the highest possible score, winning first in 100 metre, 200 metre, 400 metre, long jump, and the 100 metre relay. Bradley Russnak won aggregate for Grade Seven boys, with a first place win in 100 metre, 400 metre, the 100 metre relay and second in the 200 metre race. Amy Jakubec won Grade Se-ven girls aggregate with a first place in discus, 400 metre, and 100 metre relay, second in shot put, and third in 800 metre.
