Greyhound applies for passenger cancellation

If Alberta Transportation agrees, Greyhound’s passenger service which currently serves communities along Highway 14 will cease early in the new year.

Greyhound Canada has made application to Alberta Transportation to cancel passenger services from Sherwood Park to Wainwright.

Greyhound has asked the government to approve a date of change effective on Feb. 6, 2012.

The bus company plans to discontinue a total of six scheduled runs including two which impact this area. Those two are schedule 5401 between Saskatoon and Edmonton and schedule 5020 which accounts for the return run from Edmonton to Saskatoon.
