On Wednesday, March 14, police responded to a traffic incident west of Viking.  

    An eastbound semi tractor unit had a trailer tire blow causing debris to hit two oncoming vehicles, which caused damage to them.  A collision report was completed and all vehicles were allowed to carry on their way.

    On Sunday, March 18, police received a report of a collision that had occurred east of Viking during the previous evening. 

    A westbound pickup lost control, crossed the highway, entered the south ditch, and came to rest after striking a power pole.  Fortunately there were no injuries and poor weather and road conditions were both contributing factors in this collision.

    On March 19, police received a call regarding an ongoing problem of speeding oilfield trucks on a rural road southeast of Viking.
