Viking is planning its first Bull Bash and if it meets with success, organizers  hope to make it an annual event.

Sponsors as well as community attendance are required for the successful execution of the event and it is hoped both will show strong support.

Viking’s Bull Bash will take place Friday, April 27 at the Carena Complex and it will be followed by The Viking 4-H Beef Club annual show on Sunday, April 29.

Town council was told Tuesday night at its regular meeting that Arnold Hanson representing the Clover Lodge Stampede Association, Director of Public Works Kevin O’Neill, Viking Agricultural Society president David Lefsrud and Chief Administrative Officer Rod Krips have met on several occasions to discuss the planning for the event.
