WORD ON THE STREET: VIKING RCMP REPORTS CO-WORKER HARASSMENT

On Nov. 14, a citizen attended the detachment to report she was being harassed by a co-worker. After discussing the situation, it was determined the co-worker’s actions did not constitute criminal harassment at this time and no charge could be laid.

That afternoon, police were called to a two vehicle collision on 50th Street in Viking where one vehicle backed into another. The driver of the offending vehicle was issued a violation ticket for backing unsafely. There were no injuries.

On Nov. 15, police were dispatched to a commercial alarm at a local business. Police attended along with the owner and it was found to be a false alarm.

That afternoon, police received a complaint of mischief in Viking. The complainant advised a fence had been spray painted with red and green paint. Police have no suspects at this time.
