Viking Not Hosting

For the first time in six years, Viking will not play host to any Hockey Alberta Provincial Tournaments, which is a big change as the community has hosted seven in the previous five years.

    According to members of Viking Minor Hockey Executive, this year they had drawn up and sent in proposals to host for the Midget Boys, Midget Girls, and Bantam Boys.

“After these proposals are submitted to Hockey Alberta they then deliberate on a number of different categories which would include Provincial history.
