Viking Library hosts fun events for young children

The Viking Library was treated to two fun children’s activities on September 14.

Both the C.O.W. Program and Mary Lambert were there to entertain kids of all ages. First the Classroom On Wheels Program set up an activity space in the library where parents and their kids could play together with interactive puzzles and games.

The goal of the program, brought to the library by the Centre for Family Literacy, is to encourage children to develop their literacy skills by practicing them with a family member.
