Viking RCMP welcomes new detachment commander

Corporal Brad Mouland has taken on the role of the Detachment Commander of the Viking RCMP.

Mouland is originally from Newfoundland, but has spent several years in Alberta.

He has been an RCMP officer for 10 years, spending five years in Okotoks before moving on to Smoky Lake for the next five.

He and his wife arrived in Viking on Aug. 31, and officially began work on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
