WORD ON THE STREET Feb. 13-260

Submitted by Viking RCMP

On Feb. 15 police received a call for assistance with a male who was having mental health issues and required medical attention.

When police arrived at the residence they found a friend had already taken the male to the hospital without incident and police involvement was not required.

Later that day, police were advised of a gas and dash theft from a local gas station.

The attendant advised a male subject had drove away without paying for his gas and she was able to provide a license plate number for the suspect vehicle.

The attendant called back a few days later and advised the male had returned to the gas station.

He was unaware he hadn’t been charged for the gas and paid his outstanding bill in full.
