Successful week for Viking and Holden Food Bank

 Food Bank-school  The Viking and Holden Food Bank, with help from Viking School, has had an exciting and busy week. While the food bank made $1,900 to help in-need food banks, Viking School gathered over 2,250 items for the food bank.

    On May 12 the food bank held a hot dog BBQ and fundraiser in front of the Vision Credit Union, but it wasn’t for themselves. The food bank was raising money to help with Fort McMurray wildfire relief.

    According to Darren Anderson spokesperson for the Viking and Holden Food Bank, the Fort McMurray Food Bank depleted all of its resources helping evacuees.
