VIKING CELEBRATES VOLUNTEERS WITH LUNCH

Volunteer lunch
    Volunteers in Viking were invited to partake in a free lunch on Wednesday, April 13, to celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Week, which runs April 10 to 17.

    The event was a cooperative effort between Volunteer Alberta, the Province, Viking Beaver FCSS, Alberta Health Services, and the Town of Viking.

    Inside the Carena lobby, guests were seated at nicely decorated tables, complete with candy favours, and lunch consisted of barbecue and a variety of salads and homemade desserts.

    Viking Councillor Ellen Lefsrud started off a short program after being introduced by FCSS Director Tracey Boast Radley.
