VIKING FAMILIES 4 FUN PLAN INDOOR PLAY SPACE

During the March 21 Viking Town Council meeting, Amanda Nordstrom made a presentation on behalf of Viking Families 4 Fun.

Councillor Laurel Weisgerber stated that she has personal interest in the group, and asked that she be allowed to step away from voting.

Acting CAO Allan Harvey noted that her interest was not financial, and without her vote that evening, a quorum could not be maintained. Weisgerber retracted her request and remained in the meeting.

Nordstrom noted that there is a need for an indoor activity centre in Viking.
“People are leaving the area,” she said. “I myself go to Killam.”
