Kinsella to save Fiddle Fest

The Fiddle Festival which took place in Viking for the past 20 years will continue next year in Kinsella.

Cheryl McKie with the Kinsella Rec and Ag Society said she has talked to Randy Jones and Blaine Lutwick of the Fiddle Fest committee and it’s been decided that the Kinsella Graveldome Bullarama Committee will be hosting this event in Kinsella at the Community Centre.

She said the popular event will take place on the last Saturday of February, setting the date at February 25, 2017.

Over the years Jones has served as master of ceremonies and Lutwick has served as the accompanied keyboard player, contributing greatly to the overall success of the festival.
