An editorial team consisting of Leslie Cholowsky and Megan Lockhart will take over the editorial department for the Weekly Review this month.

Lorraine Poulsen, who has been Editor of the paper since the fall of 2009, is retiring and will leave the Weekly Review in mid-March.

Poulsen came to Viking in 2009 and after seven years as Editor, has decided to retire.

She plans to take up residence in Edmonton and will spend time working in renovation and home decor.

“While I am excited to start a new adventure, I am saddened to say goodbye to some pretty special colleagues and to friends I have made in the Viking area over the years.

“I will miss the crazy week-to-week demands of putting together a weekly paper but more than that, I will miss the people who stopped by the paper to visit and colleagues I have worked with and for,“ she said.
