The subject of installing a sign outside the Carena Complex was tabled by Viking town council pending further investigation. A motion to table the issue was passed at the Jan. 4 council meeting.

At that same meeting, a proposed town hall meeting to discuss the purchase and installation of an information signage at the Carena Complex was rejected by town council.

Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Jackie Fenton said there have been people calling with concerns about the cost of the sign and she asked council if perhaps a town hall meeting to discuss the issue would be something council should consider.

Deputy Mayor Ellen Lefsrud said she did not think a town meeting is the answer
