WORD ON THE STREET: Viking RCMP report
On Dec. 18, police received a complaint of two abandoned utility trailers parked on a residential street in Viking.
Police attended and determined one of the trailers had been stolen out of Mundare and the other had been stolen from Vermilion. Both trailers were returned to their owners and the investigation is ongoing.
That evening, police received information regarding a suspended driver who is disregarding the suspension and continuing to drive. Police are following up on this matter.
On Dec. 22, a citizen attended the detachment with a rifle he had found lying on the side of the highway. Police are attempting to locate the owner.
