WORD ON THE STREET: Viking RCMP report

On November 23, police responded to a single vehicle rollover involving a semi-tractor unit pulling an enclosed trailer at the intersection of Highway 26 and 36. 

    The driver advised he was attempting to make a left hand turn southbound onto Highway 36 when his load shifted and the high winds caused his truck and trailer to flip onto its side. 

  Fortunately, the driver did not sustain any injury however the truck and trailer sustained damage and required towing. 

    That same afternoon, police received a complaint of livestock being shot at a rural location.
